- AVA VAug 8, 20265.0Sorry for cancelling my order for a G Line Electric. It was a replacement for a series of shipping errors and delays, so I thought it would be available on Friday when it arrived at the store yesterday morning. I waited the whole day on Friday hoping to get an e-mail that it was ready. I called in the late evening and on the phone the bike shop said, oh yes it's a Brompton you can pick it up right away and keep the box, but a few moments later they said oh no it's an electric version we will need to keep it and assemble it, and that it could be ready on Saturday, but most likely it will assembled Saturday night, but if I don't hear anything by Monday, to call back. I have two other electric Bromptons (C Line) and they were shipped directly to me and only needed the saddle installed, so I thought the G Line Electric would be the same and wouldn't have needed convoluted assembly. In any case, after I hung up the phone, I realized my nerves were already frazzled by the previous delays and shipping errors from before, and I didn't want to wait through the weekend thinking, will I get an e-mail that it's ready on Saturday or Sunday? Will I have to call on Monday and wait into next week as they indicated it's possible, so I cancelled it online right away so that it wouldn't have to be assembled by the bike shop and my weekend would be free from ever worrying about getting this bike lol!
