Ever since getting turned away by REI, I found these guys and haven't looked back. They've treated me right every time, work fast, AND have good prices. They got a customer until I stop riding!

The only reason I'm giving four instead of five stars is my interaction with one employee, Chris. During my visit, I tried different bike sizes because I was between two frame sizes. As I was comparing the bikes and deciding which one felt best, Chris came over and became extremely insistent that I choose a smaller frame size, repeatedly emphasizing his experience with bike fitting. I appreciated his opinion, but after trying the bikes for myself, I decided to purchase the bike that felt right for me. His attitude then changed noticeably. He became dismissive, sarcastic, and unnecessarily confrontational. The interaction felt surprisingly unprofessional and unlike anything I've experienced at any other Trek bike shop. Interestingly, I recently recommended this store to a friend, who happened to notice several Google reviews describing similar experiences. Aside from this one interaction, everyone else I've dealt with at Trek Rockville has been professional, friendly, and helpful, especially the mechanics.
