  The lines… dear God, the lines. I stood in line for 20 minutes before I came to my senses and put the stupid $300 backpack and $360 coat back and left. I guess this store is good for people with shopping addictions because you’re really gonna have 30+ minutes in line to think about your choices. I learned about the boycott and abusive labor practices after I left, so perhaps it’s for the best.

  Check out employee was kind and helpful she exemplified the family type shopping experience that I come to REI for. In a world of self check out and AI, RE I stands out . Unfortunately I had to give 4/5 stars because Vickie in the shoes was short and unfriendly . She was also rude to my father who was birthday shopping with us but sitting alone .

  I spent $700 here yesterday, and returned today to pick up my item. Let me just say that I truly believe they are prejudice at this REI and I experienced the same treatment at the Columbia location. People of color please be aware that the energy is off at this store. Kerem and another bald, short, heavy set man treated me like absolute garbage here today. My husband and I are members of REI and were so disappointed. I was picking up a bike and was met with condescending, dismissive attitudes. So sad how rude people can be for no reason other than your appearance.

  Shout out to the Sunday closing bike staff. I came in at what turned out to be 12min after closing, but since there were still folks checking out they took the time to put my bike up on a stand and fix an issue with the gears. Above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks
