  8APR.2026 At 2pm on a Wednesday, I was walking up and a lady came to the door to tell a gentleman they were closed. I looked on the website, this is what is up w/TFCE…. Update: March 31st, 2026- We are closed to the public. We are not making appointments or accepting walk-ins from non licensed precious metals dealers. Wholesale dealers please call us during business hours for an appointment. Our phones are answered Mon-Fri from 10am – 5pm Was in here about 2 yrs ago. At the time I walked in I was greeted with politeness. Great selection of coins and jewelry. I haven’t done any business with them, you BETTER know what you’re selling to get yourself a decent price. Don’t get undersold, if that is the case; go elsewhere. Very neat, organized, and busy. There is always some selling or buying going on in here. They have a great location at the corner of the street. There is a great deal of foot traffic there.

  I bought some silver ingots and silver coins on an online auction and took them to Frederick Coin Exchange. Unfortunately, I’m not up to speed on how things work with the market and how these items would be purchased. I learned a lot and they worked with me to help me achieve a price that made us both happy. I’m much wiser now and made a little money on my investment.
