- DKDave KellerAug 16, 20265.0I have been working with Evan McCoy since my initial swing evaluation in June and have completed 9 indoor lessons with him, as well as an on-course evaluation session. Since starting to take lessons with Evan I am hitting better shots, have more confidence in my swing and better knowledge and awareness for my swing. Evan approaches our lessons with enthusiasm and has tailored his coaching and style to match my swing and personality. Evan has already impacted both my long game and short game performance. He has helped me identify opportunities, skills and drills to improve in my grip, alignment and swing path. The simple “at-home” drills Evan has recommended have reinforced what we work on during each lesson and the progress I am making on the course. I am glad that I took the initiative to check out GolfTec and very fortunate to have Evan as my coach!

The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions.
