  Hotel is outdated and pretty standard nothing special compared to other penn locations I have stayed at. Front desk was rude and not helpful in any way. Location is what it is and you know where you are going if you book to stay here.

  I stayed at Hollywood Casino & Hotel with a co-worker while in the area for work. Overall, the stay was comfortable, with a few notable pros and one major frustration. The hotel is very strict about the 4 PM check-in time unless you’re willing to pay an additional fee for early check-in. Once we got into the room, though, it was quite nice. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, and I appreciated that the bathroom actually had a ventilation fan — something more hotels should make standard. The sink is also located inside the bathroom instead of outside of it, which I personally prefer. The room included a mini-fridge and coffee maker, but surprisingly no microwave. Thankfully, there is one available in the lobby. I also appreciated that the hotel itself is completely non-smoking and separate from the casino. Unlike many Vegas-style casino hotels where the smoke smell spreads everywhere, the separation here made the hotel much more pleasant. There’s no fitness center on-site, but there is a walking trail nearby, which was a nice alternative. The casino is easily accessible - there are signs and walk ways. There is no gift shop. The biggest issue happened during our second night when the fire alarm went off around 3:20 AM. After it was finally shut off and we returned to our room, we could still hear alarms going off in other areas of the hotel. No explanation was given at checkout, nor was any compensation offered. Since we were traveling for work and had to be up early the next morning, losing that much sleep was especially frustrating. My co-worker and I evacuated immediately — probably out of habit from both working in education and being trained to take alarms seriously — while many other guests simply looked out of their rooms and stayed inside. Despite the late-night disruption, the room itself was comfortable and the non-smoking environment was a major plus.

  The room was very poor quality. The sink in the bathroom was not working properly. The sink drained, very slow stains in the carpet and on furniture. and 95% of the casino floor was smoking for smokers

  This hotel and casino is absolutely fabulous the elevator's are super fast the band in the casino is so awesome the shower in the room felt so good and warm the beds were so comfortable the TV was awesome the casino is so beautiful the bathroom in the room was nice and clean 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

  Found a dirty sock in the bathroom, used tissue between the bed and chair. When checking in, we requested extra coffee packs. We were told they didn't have any at the desk, and would send them to the room from housekeeping - didn't happen!
