  First time here , came in looking for some hiking shoes. No one greeted me .. which is fine but something to note. The gentleman working in shoes was very reluctant to speak to me or see if I needed help. A young lady finally asked me if I needed help , brought out the shoes I wanted and that was pretty much it. I am a person of color so maybe they were not used to seeing ppl who look like me in the store. With that being said I probably won’t come back here bc I felt like the associates didn’t really want to help me. They actually had the shoes in my size that I wanted but I wasn’t willing to spend my money here after my experience. Store was very clean and organized though which I appreciated.

  My favorite store. I just wish the Indy location was bigger and carried more inventory as they don't have my size often.

  For a store that sells kayaks seems like you should have them in stock that way you can look at them before you buy

  5 stars across the board! Two gentleman helped us in sleeping bags, one was named Bob and I didn't catch the other young man's name but he liked bike backpacking. Bob also helped us setup a tent to test it out! We came back in to swap out a bear bin and sleeping bag and Anders was a rockstar, he went above and beyond for us to helping to find the last sleeping bag in the back room even after closing. Honourable mention to Chris at the register for good assistance with the team.

  I want to give a shoutout to the team at this REI, particularly Crystal and David. I got off work and had to rush to get my bike from repairs. I was in line and they were closing in ten minutes. However, Crystal checked me out and she provided outstanding service even though it was nearly closing time. Working in healthcare and retail, I know the annoyance of coming in at the last minute. Crystal and David still worked hard and did all they could to represent REI and what makes them great. When I was loading my bike on my car, David even came by to see if I was setting up my bike rack properly. He was even off the clock!!!! I want the management team to give them my kind regards and reward them. Keep up the great work!
