- DLDylan LittonOct 1, 20265.0I’ve only been golfing for a year and a half and initially tried to improve my own game through videos and advice from others. I started working with Mark Poole at GOLFTEC 6–8 months ago, and the progress I’ve made has been unbelievable. He’s completely changed how I understand my swing and approach my game. His explanations click for me, and I leave lessons knowing what to work on and why. The facility is really nice, with great technology and training resources. Can’t recommend him enough!
- SMSteve MontgomerySep 26, 20265.0I have been working with Ben for a couple of months and have seen a tremendous improvement in my swing. The technology that is provided for each shot, the personal teaching approach, and the ability to practice whenever I want using their technology, has allowed me the opportunity to improve. I recently retired and wanted to get my swing back. I am well on my way working with Ben! I would strongly recommend GOLFTEC at Castleton!
- ARAndy RomensSep 7, 20265.0Clint has been amazing to work with. His patience in breaking down my years of bad habits and rebuilding my swing step by step has been a welcome change. Clint's ability to diagnose the challenges I was facing and offer new ways to improve my swing has improved my overall attitude towards the game. Clint's relaxed discussions and related experiences makes the lessons fun & engaging while learning. He has restored confidence in my swing and allowed me to regain enjoyment in my game.
- JHJack HarrisAug 31, 20265.0Ben has been a fantastic coach. I’ve only had a few lessons with him, but I’ve already seen a drastic improvement in my game and it has made golf more fun for me. The facility is fantastic with great tech and equipment. All the teachers are welcoming whenever I come by to practice. Very excited for future lessons and recommend Ben and Golftec to anyone looking to improve.
- RNRaymond NahlenAug 31, 20265.0Picked up the golf clubs after 20 years out, and after a few disasterous rounds went to Golftec for some help. Working with Clint has given my game a total reversal, and helped me enjoy the game of golf after a long time away. The ability to view video recordings of my lessons and drills to work on along with being able to practice in the facility between lessons was invaluable to getting the mechanics back on track. He helped solve the worst outside-in swing he's ever seen, and I now can just go out there and have fun enjoying a good walk spoiled. Thanks to Clint and Golftec for the help!
Frequently Asked Questions About GOLFTEC Castleton
Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
