Eckhart Park Program Center

Auburn Parks and Recreation offers year-round recreational and educational programs for people of all ages with the goal of getting people active, engaged, and invested in our community. The city's park system includes five community parks scattered throughout the city including, Eckhart Park, Memorial Park, Rieke Park, Smith Acres Park and Thomas Park. Along with the five community parks the system also includes six neighborhood parks: DeSoto, Don Lash, Forrest, Riley and Willennar Park. Nestled in the northeast corner of the courthouse square in downtown Auburn is Courtyard Park at the corner of Cedar Street and Seventh Street. The pocket park features a nice sitting area for downtown patrons wishing to take in the site
