  Did really get a chance to enjoy got rained out. But they need to cut the rough. Lost three balls on first 3 holes. Only was able to play 9 holes

  Tee times should 100% be spread out more, especially if there is a group outing. Took about 18 minutes per hole. If there is a group outing, start them really early or wait to book public tee times for at least an hour after the last group because everyone played way to slow. On top of that, the business next door had an alarm sounding off for 6 hours straight. Can almost hear it on every hole. I love this course, but horribly managed. Do better.

The course was absolutely immaculate, and despite a very busy day, our players never felt rushed. The pace of play and on-course balance perfectly matched a beautiful Saturday of golf, fellowship, and fun.   My golf club recently hosted a wonderful tournament at Joe Louis Golf Course, and we were treated so well. The course manager was fantastic, coordinating our tee times and making sure we had carts. Overall, we felt truly welcomed with warm hospitality, which made the tournament even more enjoyable.

  We had wonderful experience at Joe Louis “The Champ” Golf Course this weekend! The course is not only rich in history as the home of the Chicago Women’s Golf Club, but the staff did an outstanding job hosting our Memorial Tournament. From the course conditions to the hospitality and smooth event coordination, they help create an atmosphere that honors our legacy while making every player feel welcomed and valued.
