- EWEzra Watland2 days ago2.0I haven't had the best experience here in the few times I've gone. The first time I wanted to try on sandals that were listed as in stock on the website. They told me they've never heard of them (Bedrocks), redirected me to the display wall and that was it. This weekend, we went to find my son's first bike. We needed to figure out sizing so he sat on a few, until we got scolded for letting him "ride all over the store." He was well behaved the whole time and he still hasn't figured out how to pedal forward, so we never moved from the bike area. We all were confused by the encounter, including my son who was bummed after. Both times I walked in as a motivated buyer but left and found what I wanted elsewhere. The other bike shop was fun, they made my kid feel great about the experience. I'm still a REI fan but I'll probably stick to other locations in the future.

A special thank you to the guy working in the back in the bike shop on Saturday afternoon around 5-6 PM. He helped install my new pedals and bottle cages, and he was extremely knowledgeable. It was clear he had a lot of experience. He took the time to explain what makes sense to add to a new bike, what might not be necessary right away, and the best way to position certain things. That kind of practical advice was really helpful when making decisions. Really appreciate the help and the overall great experience!
