Beautiful course. Challenging but doable. Staff efficient, friendly and accomodating. Other FP courses could take a lesson.

We encountered a severe lack of pace from the threesome ahead of us. Almost every hole we were waiting for them. Our initial start time was 2:20, we left the 18th green past 7:00pm. They also REALLY SNARKY declined our request to play through. This group caused multiple pairs behind us to finish in almost complete darkness. He also started a severe unnecessary argument after the round, and the pro shop staff did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but watch. One of the three also purposely drove over my ball while it was in the fairway on the 18th. I could not see they were still up there do to the darkness. For the course condition, I found it extremely unacceptable. Alot of the tee boxes were in a severe condition, the greens had ball and spike marks everywhere, and it was extremely unclear where the carts could drive. The paths were sometimes invisible to us and we had no clue where we were going as we've never been there before. Bunkers were massive mud piles and weren't even attempted to be repaired following rain. My playing partner and I will not be returning to this venue. One of the worst golfing experiences in my entire life. I immediately submitted an inquiry on the website after returning home.

It's a beautiful course, not too hard the fairways and rough are pretty forgiving I'd say. But the rangers are way to uptight and strict about pace of play though, they will be watching you. Lady at the clubhouse was nice though.

Been here a couple times. Forest preserve courses are always great. Very similar to Indian Boundary
