Delightful course for 9 holes. Nicely maintained and a very good price. Plenty of sand to make it challenging if that’s what you want. Nice people.

I’ve played 280+ rounds and I’ve never tee’d off with the starter on the box with me chirping. Great local course though!

Great 9-hole neighborhood course. Friendly for a beginner, short enough to easily walk, long enough that it’s not a glorified par-3. Greens are kept extremely well, especially considering it’s an inexpensive public course.

I started golfing in a women's league here a few years back after moving into the city. ALL of the staff, from the college kid in the clubhouse, to the old men who are supposed to be starters (though they rarely are there to do that job for the womens league - weird) to "Coach Mike" are all some of the rudest course staff I have ever come across in all my years of golf. Not a single league night goes by without one of the course staff making comments to my group about the pace of play - it is slow - but my foursome are always on the heels of the group ahead - so perhaps find the source before hustling a group that literally cannot move any faster. They are always quick to pull up to the tee box and ask why we are not teeing off yet when the group ahead is 175 yds out. I am a 15 handicap golfer who consistently drives the ball 250yds off the tee mind you. Not to mention the comments about our play in general - coach mike loves to make digs and condescending comments at my foursome at one point complaining that we were playing from the forward tees and not the Junior tees. If you're a parent who sends your little girl to whatever program he is running I strongly suggest you reconsider. This course clearly wants so bad to have no lady golfers play it and that has been made evident by the treatment of the Chicago Golf Gals league. The course itself - is nice - and lovely to have in the neigborhood - however - the people working the place could use a massive upgrade.
