My group plays this course every Thursday, but today on the 4th of July, I booked a cheaper online rate. We arrived early not with the intention of playing right away, but just to check in, practice, and chill before our round. The staff member at the desk was incredibly rude. Without even asking if we wanted to play early or wait for our tee time, she snapped at us, saying that booking an online rate doesn't mean we can come early to play at the normal rate. She showed zero customer service mindset, and her tone and phrasing were highly unprofessional. We will never be back again.
Great course. A little easy maybe, but if it's so easy go drive the greens and play for bird. Always find it to be in decent condition

Fun course, great location, reasonably priced. Only downside is that pace of play is very slow on weekends.

One of Chicago's 10 Forest Preserve golf courses. This is a 9 hole and usually plays in about 2 hours. Driving carts are scarse, so get there well before your tee time so you can lock one in. If not, it's not a bad course to walk, and like I said above, it's only 9 holes.
It's very well maintained for a public park district course. Greens play slow, but are in good shape.
There is also a lot of wildlife and I usually see deer (around holes 6 or 7) almost every time I go. Very beautiful.
