  If you're looking for a bike shop that truly puts the customer first, I can't recommend Trek Algonquin highly enough. A few months ago, I bought my wife her very first "real" bicycle there. I'm an experienced cyclist and have purchased and serviced bikes at many local bike shops over the years, so I have a good basis for comparison. The experience at Trek Algonquin was simply on another level. From the moment we walked in, Zane, the store manager, took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. Since my wife was completely new to cycling, he listened carefully to her goals, answered every question without ever making her feel rushed, and offered thoughtful recommendations based on her comfort, riding style, and long-term enjoyment of the sport. Working together with the store's bike fitter, they didn't just sell us a bike—they built the right bike for her. They customized it with the appropriate saddle, suspension seatpost, pedals, tires, tubes, and other components to match both her body and the type of riding she planned to do. Every recommendation had a purpose, and it was obvious they genuinely cared about getting everything right. The results exceeded our expectations. Three months later, my wife absolutely loves her bike. More importantly, she has fallen in love with cycling itself. What started as a purchase has turned into a new passion. She looks forward to every ride, has built remarkable confidence, and we now spend countless hours riding together. Looking back, I realize we weren't just buying a bicycle—we were investing in an experience. Zane and his team made sure my wife's first introduction to cycling was a positive one, and that has made all the difference. Thank you, Zane, and everyone at Trek Algonquin. Your professionalism, expertise, and genuine commitment to your customers created a lifelong cyclist. And I also need to add, that I have moved my bike service to Zane and his crew. Just 2 days ago my shift cable broke. Zane had it fixed in less than 24 hours and handled few other minor items on the spot. The extras were unsolicited, and the fact they were noticed and addressed shows commitment and attention to detail. Great Job!

  I grew up in Cl and was back visiting my mom and had many flats riding by the Fox River. I found trek in Algonquin and they were fantastic with customer service and fixing my bike the same day. I decided I wanted to upgrade on a new bike as my bike was quite old. Both Vince and Zane were great. I was always afraid to put myself in a racing bike even though my other bike was modified from a straight bar from racing. Zane got me over the fear of the bike and I can tell you I am SO excited to be riding my new racing bike! These guys in this store went way beyond their job in helping me get to the right bike! Fantastic customer service, knowledge on bikes for certain and super friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else and will be back on my next visit to see them! Thanks again to their entire team for looking after me!

  Wow, what an incredible staff. They won me as a customer for life after helping me with fixing my sons bike today. Top notch sales/service staff, 100% will send anyone with bike needs. Thanks again guys!

  Recently, I had service done on my bicycle and was impressed with the service I received. The bicycle road as well as the day I brought it home. The staff was very helpful.

  I showed up 30 minutes before they closed to get new tires on my bike. They were great, fast and efficient. Miguel had excellent customer service. I will be back if I ever need any bike repairs or need a new bike.
