CampgroundCampAfter School Program
Camp Shalom Christian Camp has served young people in Maquoketa since 1976, providing a space for spiritual growth for campers from second grade through senior year. This ecumenical ministry invites youth and families from various communities to engage in outdoor adventures and faith formation. Registration for summer camp is open, featuring week-long sessions that help participants connect with nature, build relationships, and encounter God's presence.

When a few friends invited me to a religious summer camp I was apprehensive but it was the best decision I ever made to say yes. My experiences at Camp Shalom changed my life, I grew much much stronger in my faith, but also gained some of the greatest friends in my life that I still talk to daily. There isn't a better experience around for a fun faith filled week than this beauty nestled in the woods of Northeast Iowa.
