Designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, the course was designed on a grand scale in keeping with its location on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains and offers dramatic ocean views from virtually every hole. Its lengthy 7,596 yard par 73 layout challenges the pros but it’s wide fairways and generous greens make it very playable for the average golfer. With dramatic elevation changes, this course offers plenty of downhill tee shots. You’ll feel like one of the pros when – with the aid of the aggressive slope of the 18th fairway – you will enjoy hitting one of the longest drives of your life. The Plantation Course is the site of the PGA TOUR’s Sentry Tournament of Champions each January featuring an elite field of previous year’s PGA TOUR

- BHBrad HowardJun 19, 20263.0Played yesterday with my family and the facility, course conditions, amenities, were all top notch! The cart guys, pro shop, bartender were all extremely pleasant and helpful. However, the cart lady (the one who has been there 35 years) was abrasive and rude. The one and only blemish on what was otherwise an exceptional day on the course. For context: I came out to go to the range and she offered food and drinks. To which I replied, "thanks, but my mom is waiting on some breakfast sandwiches at the bar". Her, "why wouldn't she just get them from me!". Me, "Sorry we will know for next time" She then goes into the bar and harasses my mom for not ordering from her (seriously?!). On the course acted like she owned the place and was not pleasant there either. Have played 100s of courses and this was one of the more perplexing situations given the professionalism we encountered everywhere else. Again, Kapalua plantation course is awesome. just thought y'all should know.

I'm not happy I played in some of the greatest Golf courses in the country. Nothing like this It's Hawaii, it's just what they do here.They review off.Everything is nickel and dime
- KKKI HUN KIMJun 12, 20264.0After I played golf at Manele in Lanai, I found this course rather disappointing. It couldn't be helped. The layout was very challenging, which was very interesting, but so many holes were overlapped, which means many holes were confronted, so very distracting.
