  Went with family and we range from beginner to moderate golfers. The course was fine for us and in fine condition. Views are beautiful, just like everywhere else in Maui. We are not hard to please and would have given a better rating but the entire staff from check-in, to club rental, to starter were unpleasant to each and every one of us. Will golf at Wailea (or Maui Nui) every time from now on as they are always very nice to all of us every time.

  Royal course is worth the visit, the Kai course is just okay. The prices are a bit high, but you can offset the cost by booking later tee times and the course wouldn’t be as busy either. The driving range could be better if you can hit off the grass like Kapalua, but for warm up the range is sufficient. Staff here is friendly, especially Amy at the pro shop who was very helpful.

  OMG...If you are a serious golfer, who enjoys golf roundings at Kapalua, Menele in Lanai, never ever try playing here. It was terrible, to say the least. The driving range was disappointing. All the staffs were very unkind. There was no decent service at all! Teeing grounds were frustrating, fairways were unfair, and the greens were not so good. On top of that, the course layout was funny! This course is never worth their green fee(over 300+). It was really, really disappointing experience! Lastly, there were so many resort guests stolling around cart path, which was very dangerous, and annoying!!!!
