  I LOVE THIS PLACE! As soon as you step out on the back porch to get a cart, it’s a beautiful view. Greens are in great shape. It’s wide open and the service is great as well. I drive an hour and 15 minutes to play this place at least 5 to 6 times a year and I have played a lot of places.

  Course condition is hit or miss the majority of the time. They do an awful job with spacing tee times and rounds typically take upwards of 4 hours. They prioritize profit over quality of experience.

  One of my favorite courses in North Georgia. I have no clue why this is rated 4.3 on here. I have played almost every course in North Georgia and Chattanooga area and this one always delivers. The scenery alone justifies the 1 hour drive I make. Great place to take your wife/girlfriend. As for the golf, perfect shape for this time of year, greens were in excellent condition. Thank you to the clubhouse for being polite and helpful!

  Course is in absolute horrendous shape. The whole “irrigation maintence” is no excuse for the amount of damage the “crew” has done to the course outside of the normal wear and tear from laying pipe and irrigation (I run construction so I understand). There are Side by side and back hoe tracks all over the fairways and tee boxes, on top of the horribly filled in trenches they’ve dug across almost every hole so far. Even digging up and cutting through the concrete paths, just to throw the concrete cutouts back on the cart path unevenly making it even worse than it was before. Probably should think about making the “maintenance crew” abide by the cart path only rules they have in place EVERYDAY ALMOST because they are doing more damage to the fairways than a golf cart ever could. Maintence is understandable from time to time, but it’s pretty absurd they don’t discount their already overpriced tee times when the course is in this bad of shape. From holes turned into par 3’s, to multiple holes being completely closed in general. Pretty sad how horrible the staff is they have in the proshop as well. Talked the manager on the phone about a membership option (which I was preparing to get because he was very polite about it on the phone), yet I get completely harassed by the young pro shop employee about not reading the website “correctly” and filling out the paperwork online. So sad to see such a good course in the past turn to absolute crap… course condition wise, and management. Hate coming to the internet to express things like this but the public deserve to have an idea of what to expect for the next 6-8 months. Maybe check back in after those 6-8 months because that’s how long it’s gonna take for the course to get even remotely close to the price they are charging.
