- MYMayki YamadaMay 5, 20261.0Seems we got a new guy because he didn't seem to care. We purchased a whole bag fitting and he wasn't engaged. He didnt seem to have any product knowledge. Felt like we were being babysat in a store. Would've gotten better service at Dicks. We bought clubs just because we already put $200 into the fitting.
- CCClay CollinsApr 24, 20265.0I had become a decent golfer and hovered around 8-11 hdcp for years. But then developed a hitch in my swing and zero confidence standing over the ball. So After two years of hozzle rockets and almost quitting the game altogether…. I took one last step and went to GOLFTEC for lessons to diagnose the problem. First step: fix my swing. Step 2: get fit for clubs that actually fit me vs off the rack used clubs. step 3; get fit for a driver with the correct shaft. Less than 7 months later, I’m proud to be back to a 8 hdcp and dropping, with tons of confidence addressing the ball. Thanks to Kevin and the team at GOLFTEC Alpharetta.

The immediate feedback I get during instruction and practices is extremely helpful. I have fixed several issues with my swing and continue to improve. You should at least give it a try!
- KDKrunal DasJan 7, 20265.0Bought 6 months of lessons (15 lessons) in June/July. Coach was Nathan. I highly recommend going this route as a beginner who has never golfed. I broke 100 on 01/01/2026! 7 months after starting. Also got fitted for a set here. For any new golfer thinking about lessons, stop thinking and just do. Worth the time and money.

The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
