Emily in the shoe dept is always so super helpful (and patient) in finding the perfect running shoe. Just a gem all around- thanks again! 🫶✨🌻

My daughter is getting ready to do the El Camino de Santiago. She’s been having difficulty in getting a pack to fit properly for her 16 day hike. We went in the middle of a weekday which may have explained why she got so much attention but three people assisted her at one time or another. First they attempted to adjust the pack she brought into the store, then they showed her and evaluated many packs on her that were in the store. Finally as we were about to leave in disappointment one of the gentlemen came out from the back and said “I found this in the back”. It was perfect and we bought it.

Hello! I went to REI for some new shoes, and Chloe was super helpful! She helped me find the correct size and we had a fun conversation throughout the whole process. I'm glad I met her.

I love REI, but it's becoming stressful that there's someone at the door asking if I have a membership and if I need something EVERYTIME I go into the store. None of the other REI stores I've been to does this, and I've been to many REI stores.. I have more than 10 orders from REI this yr alone. I donate when asked at the register. I really don't understand why this specific REI store does this. People are around and nice and very helpful when I ask for help, and I would ask if I do need something. I just really can't take it anymore that three people came to me and asked if I need something today.. They're all very nice, but this policy is just creating annoyance instead of the feeling of welcomed. I also seriously doubt the conversion rate of this operation. I have a membership, but I probably won't get one if I don't when asked if I have a membership right at the door. PLEASE CHANGE IT as I believe this is definitely not a REI policy but store-specific. Sry about the one star. I would've go to the store more often if there's no one at the door ALL THE TIME staring at me going in and getting out of the store.. If anyone pays attention to the google reviews, there have been multiple complaints about this..
