  I stopped by on a quiet Tuesday morning while exploring the neighborhood to see if I could take a quick look around. The staff welcomed me immediately and offered a self-guided tour that made it easy to move through the rooms at my own pace. I was particularly struck by the heavy timber ceilings and the way the sunlight hit the century-old brickwork, which gave the entire space a very grounded and peaceful atmosphere. The transition from the interior galleries to the outdoor courtyard felt seamless, and the person at the front desk was helpful without being overbearing when I asked a few questions about the restoration. It was a remarkably smooth visit that felt like a genuine look into the local history rather than a typical tourist stop.

  I’ve now seen multiple photos of different wedding couples taking photos on the tee box at 1. But during my brothers wedding the tee box marshal made it a whole big deal about us groomsman and the bride and groom trying to take quick photos just on the tee box. Was very rude about it and gave no logical explanation now that I’m seeing all these other photos that have been done. Most recent photos literally within the last few weeks/month because they’ve been shared by another couple) teach your staff the rules and how to treat guest

  Loved the course. Layout was challenging but fair. Greens were in great shape and rolled very nice. Staff was amazing. They welcomed us ro the course, gave us a quick history lesson and made sure we were prepared to play to our best ability. Overall, a great experience.

  Hate the double standards and slow play. Had tee time for 9:50. Showed up 9:20 and checked in and went to go putt. No starter for 30 minutes so we tee off after the group gets off the green on the 1st about 9:54. Starter then comes out on hole 2 to tell us we didn’t check in with him. Mind you he’s coming from hole 3 to 2. We tell him there wasn’t anyone up there and he starts berating us saying that he was. I tell him what time I showed up and he back tracks and says oh well I was waiting by the carts for you guys. Makes such a big deal about us not checking in. Then when we’re making the turn the group in front of us was gone and there was a new group teeing off 10. Ranger goes to look drives halfway up to the group, doesn’t even talk to them or anything and comes back to me and says that oh they’re 3 times ahead of you and he just leaves. 4.5 hours and we skipped two holes to get ahead of the slow group. We were also playing with a person that has never even played before and SHE WAS FASTER than any other group out there. Get your priorities straight and fix the slow players before antagonizing the ones who are following the rules!
