Course was in great shape, unfortunately, the greens did not meet expectation. Granted they had been aerated.

First off the condition of the course is great. The reason for 2 stars is because of the staff and pace of play. The starter was extremely rude, i am a scratch golfer and was -2 going into 5 and the starter has the nerve to ask if I am a beginner and that i should move up a tee to keep pace of play up. I was already playing the whites when i should of been playing the blues. I had a 92 year old lady i was paired up with but we were all keeping pace as a group and waiting on the next group to hit. Rest of the staff was great but starter ruined the entire experience with his comment. Pace of play was about 4 hrs 15 mins.

Great golf course. The green and fairways were prestine. Lots of water and bunkers, but a great course layout. Club rentals were nice. Highly recommend playing here.
Beautiful course with consistently immaculate conditions. Personally, I think this is one of the most challenging public options in Central Florida, forget the course rating, Both were previously used for PGA events, and there's a reason for that. You will face tight corridors, multiple forced carries (1 or 2 holes have more than one), very protected green complexes with deep bunkers, steep back sides, rolling off into more trouble. Make sure to bring your 'A Game' with, well...everything really. Nearly every round I've played at Palm required EVERY CLUB in my bag. Sometimes even the white tees (2nd from tip) will feature 200+ yard par 3s. All that aside, it's a fantastically fun course to play. The landscaping and design is gorgeous, turf has been A+ every time I've played here. Carts are all in good condition, with GPS and a rain cover for your bags. Sand in bunkers is nice and fluffy. Turf is beautiful, no matter where you've ended up. I did hit a FULL PINECONE, when I took a Divot, however... It had been completed covered by new turf! That did sting my wrist for quite a while, so that would be my big complaint, for the grounds crew to pay attention to placing new turf squares OVER things like pinecones, roots, rocks, etc. Also holes near the road could use some temporary fencing. There's lots of construction, and traffic noise on the roadside holes. It is quite expensive, but they do have different deals that will allow you to play for a good price, if you do some research. Overall it's a beautiful track. It's been a while since this course was on the PGA Tour, but still a great opportunity to take a stab at a course that some legends have been challenged by as well.
