This is quite an unfortunate review to write. Sadly, this is not the first disappointing experience my family and I have had here. Considering this is Disney, we expected a much higher level of professionalism, communication, and customer service, but our experience was the complete opposite.
After waiting nearly 3 hours due to weather delays, we finally completed payment and were given the approval to proceed and tee off. Moments later, we were approached and informed that the course was suddenly being closed.
What made the situation even more frustrating was overhearing what appeared to be a supervisor say, “Only 3 people are going to play?” before making a phone call. Shortly after, the course was closed around 5:30 PM, despite the rain already having stopped.
The lack of communication, consistency, and overall customer care was extremely disappointing. Situations like weather delays are understandable and out of everyone’s control, but the way this was handled fell far below the standard we expected from a Disney property.

The golf course itself is beautiful.. well maintained and had a lot of fun, however, I went and got a rental set from the shop and the young gentleman issuing the clubs was less than enthusiastic on letting me a get a better condition set. My putter had a whole bottom missing and he wouldnt let me just get a different one. Disney needs people that are more enthusiastic and energetic even if its at their golf courses. All in all, a fun and beautiful golf course minus the staff issues.

The easier (in my opinion) of the 2 main Disney courses. Wider Fairways, and green complexes aren't quite as daunting as Palm. Don't get me wrong, it's still very challenging, but doesn't feel like the course is bullying you. Rangers and starter keep play running like a Swiss watch. Don't think I've ever gotten stuck behind a group without someone coming to "help" them along within minutes. (I've been paired eith some of the people goofing off, and they're very polite about it) Turf is in great shape, well taken care of. Bunkers are well maintained. No matter where you go, it all seems fair, and that theres a way out. Layout is very interesting and fun, without feeling overly punishing. ONLY 2 NEGATIVES... The bathrooms on 15,16,17 were out of order for probably 2 months. Hopefully that's fixed by now, but that, then Grumpys Gauntlet ends with the abandoned quarry on 17. The course is so good, I still can't take a star away. It's not the courses fault, but a privacy screened fence even would be nice. So all in all, great course, awesome layout, managed and manicured by fantastic staff. 5 stars all day.
