- ASAshutosh SharmaMar 15, 20261.0Scott was condescending and was getting frustrated during my swing analysis. He did help me correct my posture a little but that’s where the good ends. Took the club out of my hand as I was about to swing my last ball. At least, give me a heads up. Then further talked down to me because I didn’t know the jargon, even though I had mentioned that I’m starting from zero. Finally, pushed me to close a sale for 12 month lessons which I’m obviously smart enough to say no to. And then used that archaic sales technique “what do you have to think about?” This lesson was a birthday gift from my wife which should’ve made me happy, but the experience left a sour taste. I’m the paying customer here so you better be kind, patient, and polite to me. The receipt showed the duration as 1:30-3. I arrived at 1:30 and first several minutes were registration etc. Scott took the club away from me by 2:30. I was pushed out of the door by 2:55 Anyway, I know what my recommendation will be if one of my colleagues wanted to join GolfTec. Definitely not worth $100. Find a different trainer!! GolfTec: please don’t post your regurgitated response to my review. I already saw a similar review about the trainer from a year ago. If you haven’t gotten this fixed yet, I don’t trust your promises.

The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
