A couple of years ago, I got a Trek Domane SL5 (and LOVE it). I wanted to change it from a mechanical 105 groupset to Ultegra Di2. I purchased my own components and was going to do it myself, but decided to have it installed. A friend suggested that I take my bike to a particular store to get the work done. Over the phone, the service tech said it would be around $200 and that it would be about a week before they could get to it. When I went to the store, the guy looked everything over and estimated "about $250". He asked another guy if $250 sounded about right and that guy said that I was looking at more like $350. Since I was already there, I asked if they could take a look at how the bike fit me and they said that they do not offer bike fitting. I would need to see a bike fitter, and they recommended one in Largo who would do it for $150 - $300. I got a serious "bike bros" vibe from the guys at this store. One of them looked at some Trickstuff kevlar brake lines that I had brought in and said "I've never heard of that brand" and he asked around "have any of you heard of this brand?" and they all said "no". My ISM seat also seemed to amuse them. I felt pretty dumb. I left there and went straight to the Trek store with my bike and parts. They put my bike in a work stand, scanned the barcode under the bottom bracket, and went through the components that I had brought in. Within a few minutes he said it would be $193. I asked him how solid is the estimate and he said "that is not an estimate, that's the price". I left my bike with them and they had it ready the next day. It shifts like butter and the brakes are solid. He also took a look at how my bike fit me and made a couple of changes. He told me to come back after I've ridden 50 miles or so and we could make further adjustments if needed.... there was no charge for that. I would give this store 20 stars if I could. They are so relaxed and easy to chat with. They understood my needs and spoke with me on a recreational biking level... not like a Tour de France rider.

Super great service! I came in looking for help with boxing up my bike for a move, and they went over the options with me. I ended up going the DIY route. They gave me a free box and disk brake thingies. Helped solve my problem and didn't charge me anything!

Came in to get new pedals and the staff was very kind and helpful. He even said if I brought the bike in, he’d put them on for me. I came back a little later with my bike, and also inquired about new brakes. He told me I actually don’t need them and my brakes were good to go after looking over the bike (he could have totally made a sale but didn’t take advantage- rare!). Would recommend them to anyone wanting friendly and helpful work on their trek.

All the associates I have interacted with in the Dunedin Trek Store have been super helpful and knowledgeable. They answered my questions in a clear and concise manner. The staff is very friendly and I feel encouraged to drop in anytime I have questions. So far I have met Noah, who sold me my new Checkpoint SL7, Adam, Margo, and Brian. They installed a power meter and tube bag to my bike and serviced my wife's Diverge. We are both very satisfied and highly recommend this store and all the associates there.
