- NWNicole Wagner4 days ago2.0Stay away from Melissa at the front! She is the face to greet you and let me tell you, she is not pleasant at all. For the high price you pay to have a good time, it seems she does nothing to try and accommodate your experience. A few adjectives.. rude, unfriendly, and unwilling to help. She even made sure our children’s WATER thermos be escorted back to our vehicles before we could even begin to bowl. The manager comes to diffuse her upheavals well, so I will give him some grace. The air was barely working so it was HOT. And at one point there was a bad thunder storm in which the power went out. And who do we hear as we walk by… Melissa back at it again talking with a co worker stating.. “I wish the power would stay off so they all can leave”. Thanks Melissa for being so pleasant. I say that with the most sarcasm. Will not be returning at that price point and attitude. We should have remained at AMF to wait for one of their lanes to open.

We are 2 people arrived at approximately noon and were placed on the waitlist by the receptionist. We were instructed to wait, so we remained seated directly in front of the reception area for nearly an hour. During that time, we noticed that none of any other customers who arrived after us appeared to be added to the waitlist and were subsequently accommodated, while our name remained on the list without any apparent progress. We also observed several walk-in customers being seated and allowed to play while we continued waiting. After approximately an hour, we approached the receptionist to follow up. At that point, she appeared to realize that she had forgotten about our waitlist entry while checking the information on the iPad. This was particularly concerning because we had been waiting in a location directly in front of the reception desk and were easily visible to her throughout that time. During our wait, the receptionist was also engaged in conversations and joking with other staff members, which gave us the impression that our request was not being appropriately attended to. I cannot determine whether this treatment was the result of racist, negligence, poor customer service, or something else. However, given the circumstances, I found the experience concerning and felt that we were treated differently from other customers. I would appreciate it if management could review the events from that date and time, including the staff members who were working at the Davie location, and investigate what occurred. I am bringing this matter to your attention because I believe customers should receive consistent and professional service regardless of the circumstances. Thank you for taking the time to review my concern. I would appreciate a response regarding the outcome of your investigation. Sincerely.
- FFFelAug 22, 20265.0⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been to Lucky Strike Davie a few times now, and I always enjoy bowling here. The facility is clean, the atmosphere is nice, and I’ve generally had good luck with lane availability. But I especially wanted to leave this review because of the great service I received from Melissa at the front counter. I called before coming in with a whole list of questions, and Melissa was incredibly patient and helpful. She answered everything she could, and for anything she wasn’t sure about, she actually took the time to find out the correct information rather than just guessing. That really helped me plan our visit ahead of time. When we arrived, she was just as pleasant in person. She was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to help. We had a request for a specific lane, and she went out of her way to make it happen for us. Great customer service really does make a difference, and Melissa definitely added to our experience. I also appreciated another attendant who noticed we were having a little trouble getting the machine/game started. We hadn’t even asked for help yet. He saw that we needed assistance, came right over, and helped us get everything going. Overall, this continues to be a bowling alley I enjoy coming to, and this visit was especially pleasant thanks to Melissa and the attentive staff. One thing worth noting for anyone who is particular about this: the lanes here use string pins.

They were both incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful from start to finish. They made everything so easy and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. With a group of 10 energetic boys, having such wonderful service made all the difference! We truly appreciate everything they did to make our experience so enjoyable. The pizza, chicken fries, and French fries were delicious, and we were always so well taken care of. Everything was served with such great attention and care.
