  Ed Oliver used to be one of the courses in my rotation I went through to have a casual round of golf, but credit where its due the quality of the course has increased significantly over the past year. I've noticed the green speeds are both more natural and have a "true roll" to them. The hole design is still as is, but the course bunkers have gotten a massive improvement. Props to the groundskeeper and crew. Ed Oliver went from a place to play to a course I'm excited to challenge myself at with each passing round. This is coming from a +8.8 handicap golfer.

  The course was very pretty. Worth the $40 I paid for course wise, however, I used loaner clubs and it was probably the worst $25 I ever spent. I would call them Walmart clubs but I think that would be a disgrace to the clubs Walmart sells. The driver was broken with a very flimsy shaft, the 3 spoon had a grip that was falling apart, and almost all (the putter was the worst) had terrible grips and left a sticky residue on my hands. It took me almost 45 minutes to get it all off my hands. Every course I’ve played where they rent out clubs have tees come with it. They didn’t offer any and wanted me to buy a whole bag. The course was pretty but I wouldn’t have given those clubs to my worst enemy.

  They need to fix the management of this course. Absolutely no care in the world. Pro shop does not care whatsoever. Pace of play is horrendous. Please bring back the porky that I love and cherish. Especially 150 years of service. Disgrace to Ed Oliver in his grave.
