  We went wedding yesterday at Deerfield Golf Club. This place should not be allowed 🚫 to have weddings. Ceremony was outside and there weren’t enough chairs for guests. The wedding space was not secluded, there were golfers and carts riding around us. People standing during the ceremony were asked to move because that is where the bridal party and bride were to enter. The dinner rolls were STALE, I’m not kidding. The chicken was rubber and we were only given a butter knife which didn’t “cut it” … literally They put out the dessert table but forgot to put plates so people took the saucers from the coffee station. Staff was Not attentive !

  After decades of weddings, stellar brunches, lovely lunches and countless events, Deerfield is still pristine and in demand. If an unforgettable wedding venue is in your future, Deerfield should definitely be on your short list. By the way, the food is worthy of Michelin award... without a doubt!

  Deerfield Golf Course is just a good time. Nothing about it feels like it’s trying to impress you, and that’s kind of the point. You show up, you play golf, you don’t overthink anything. It’s one of those places where the round goes by faster than you expect because you’re actually enjoying the shots instead of managing stress or conditions. You can swing freely here. Miss a fairway and you’re still fine. Hit a good one and you get rewarded with a clean look into greens that are more forgiving than punishing. It’s golf in its simplest form, and it works. The course doesn’t rely on tricks or gimmicks. It’s straightforward, walkable, and consistent. You’re not fighting the layout, you’re just playing it. By the time you finish, it just feels like you got in a solid round without any drama. And honestly, that’s exactly what you want sometimes.

  Excellent public course. Not easy, pretty well kept. They offer Military discount, but must state before you pay. Lots of up and down. Definitely a place to play. Strongly recommend reservations for tee times.
