- TETony EvansAug 3, 20265.0Michael Katz is by far the best golf coach I have ever had. He explains swing logic is easy to follow bites. He is quick to identify the main issue(s) holding you back and fixes them with clear and repetitive feedback that calms your mind from all the noise and allows you to just swing the club. Whenever I have a question, no matter how off track it may be, he always provides a thoughtful answer that allows my mind to let that nagging thought go. He knows a massive amount of information about the golf swing but yet he is not cocky or overly confident in his approach. He follows the fundamentals and doesn't get you too far out in one direction or the other. Some of the little details he knows and communicates are nuggets of information no one else has ever bothered to explain to me. I have improved so much and I enjoy my rounds of golf to max now. I still have bad days and I get off track but Michael always gets me going again.

- TATony AlonzoMay 2, 20265.0First thing, I want to thank Cameron Place for being an awesome coach. When I first started my golf game was horrible. I couldn’t compress the ball and I had a nasty slice with all my clubs. After the first two lessons, my game started to improve with also lots of practice on my end on what Cameron taught me that session. After a while of lessons and practice, everything started to come around. I started to compress the ball more, hit my drives straight and where I wanted the ball to go, and hybrids were going straight and far. I loved going to my sessions and talking about my last golf outing and working on what did not work for me that week. One week was my driver, he fixed that with a couple tweaks. Next time was my hybrids, he also fixed that with a couple tweaks and pushing out the hip. In the beginning. And last was just a refresher on everything I had learned in the beginning. Cameron never pushed me to buy new clubs, unless I suggested it. And yes I ended up by a putter from Golftech (L.A.B. DF3i Putter). In all, Golftech and Cameron really improved my game. I would definitely suggest anyone to at least try the 5 lesson plan like I did.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
