  go early to avoid long wait. even though I booked & paid for reservation in advance (snowboard only, no helmet nor boots - pretty minimal right?), still had to wait in queue. went around 930am, waited for just under an hour. Juanita offered to help me; she was very nice & kind, apologizing for the long wait. However other triaging staff dissented, advising that I had to still wait in queue. received board rental but no one took the time to fit me so bindings ended up being way too loose for my boots. Went back & got properly fitted. Overall, the fitting staff were working as efficiently as possible but I think operations need to be optimized so that renters who’ve already reserved & paid in advance would not need to wait in queue, thus overall reducing the bottleneck & enhancing the experience.

  Joseph, Alex and everyone are so attentive and willing to help here. Fast service, was recognized very quickly when we walked in. Very convenient when staying at the Ritz.

  We ski / snowboard quite a bit at various resorts and the team at the True North in the Ritz is an absolute 5 star service. Tim, specifically, was especially helpful and accommodating as we were looking for a specific snowboard rental for my son. Thank You and highly recommend using them if you are at Northstar.

  ***Read this carefully... THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GO TO GET SKI RENTALS FROM IN TAHOE...The meaning of PERFECT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!*** STAYING HERE WAS A LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCE! I have traveled the world and stayed at many hotels... But the customer service I experienced at this location is unmatched. Where do I begin. My wife and I visited the Ritz Carlton at Lake Tahoe over the New Year. We were first time skiers and snowboarders and had no idea what to expect for our first experience. WOW! We were so fortunate to run into the team at True North. Tim, the subject matter expert, set us up with the perfect level of skis and snowboard ensuring that our time was PERFECT. His helpfulness is beyond anything I could have asked for. HE IS A SUPERSTAR! He went the extra mile unlike anyone I have ever seen in this field. Thank you again! As we made our lift ticket reservations Emmi, Zach, and Cheyenne were extremely helpful and treated us like family. Special shout out to Emmi her energy and care for her profession is truly remarkable. She took time on her day off to check on us on the slopes and helping to develop our new skill set. Thank you again ! In conclusion, Erika runs a great team here. I promise you thy will ensure your experience is nothing but perfect and will have you yearning to com back. In fact, I went back for the second time this past week because here they care about you... and this is much appreciated... If you are going to Lake Tahoe, GO HERE!!! IT WILL BE ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS YOU EVER MADE!!!
