Two months ago, I signed up to possibly take a class with some friends. After signing up, their team has been harassing my friend and Iike an obsessive ex. They call nonstop, and when I block the number, they call from a different number. They send very very strangely worded texts. They have been emailing me TWICE A DAY. Whoever is in charge of outreach and marketing should be fired. Not only will I never try this place out, but I will warn people to stay far away.

Last month, I was interested in taking a class with my friends, so I created an account. For the past 6 weeks, they have sent me bizarre text messages that are supposed to be encouraging…? As well as calling me constantly off of different numbers and leaving me voicemails. I have an extremely busy schedule, and fully intended to book a class once I was able to sort out my schedule, but their constant annoying outreach has completely turned me off to taking a class here and I will never patronize this business. Please rethink how you reach out to future potential customers because what you are doing now is not professional or welcoming.

I went to my first class with friends, and it was a great workout! The staff was welcoming, and the pre-class was nice to have in order to understand the moves for the bag portion of class.

I joined Rumble Boxing years ago in Palo Alto, and when I moved to Sunnyvale and found out a new studio had opened, I knew I had to give it a try. Now that I’ve taken plenty of classes, I can confidently say it’s been an amazing experience.
I’ve taken classes with Katie, Jose, and several other incredible instructors, and after every class, you walk out feeling like you conquered something. You learn something new every time, and you leave feeling happier, fitter, and more confident.
The coaches and front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and always responsive to messages or calls. The music and vibe inside the studio are so energetic and motivating that the workout flies by. In just 45–60 minutes, you get such a solid workout in.
If you’ve been thinking about trying Rumble, don’t hesitate. It’s genuinely pretty amazing.

Overall, I’ve had some fine experiences at this gym. I’ve attended about 20 classes at this location (have gone to others throughout the Bay Area). The female coaches are cool. My issues arise from class layout decisions. For example, if the class is “small” they will make everyone go to the same side (typically everyone on bags to start). This decision makes everything so crammed and uncomfortable. The bags are simply too close together to have everyone on the same side. I’ve been hit with other people’s bags multiple times and I’ve had others walk into my space as they move around their bag. I’ve also been sweat on by men who can’t control their bodies. I wish they would just ask other people to move to the floor side to make everything even and more spaced out. I’ve provided this feedback before and nothing has changed. Also, you can reserve your starting spot on the app, so I always walk in expecting to start in my spot. They won’t tell you they are switching everyone to one side until you arrive. Apparently, this is an issue others have brought up as well. Next, the lack of boxing (or even just group workout class) etiquette really ruins the vibe. I wish instructors would do more to make sure individuals don’t ruin the class for everyone else (talking over the instructor, smelling so vile that it makes people sick, not wiping up their sweat before switching sides, etc). Lastly, I try to wipe down my space and weights before and after class, but I don’t see other people doing that too. It’s not even encouraged by instructors. And based on the amount of dirt on my wipes, I can tell nobody else is regularly cleaning the weights or stations at this location. That’s just gross in my opinion. Anyways, I probably won’t be coming back which is a bummer since the Palo Alto location is permanently closed now.
