  Goleta Dojo’s Fitness Kickboxing is the workout I needed. The instructors are encouraging and the sessions are demanding. I am a grandmother who had been feeling the aches and pains of life (in one year - broken toe 2x, dislocated thumb, and old shoulder injuries resurfacing) and after two months working out here my joints are stronger and pain free!

  My son started the Ninja Class when he was four, and over the past year and a half, our whole family and even our friends have noticed such a huge change in him. He used to be a slow-to-warm-up kid, but at the dojo he has not only become physically stronger, he has also gained so much confidence. Honestly, this was the first place where I saw that spark of confidence in a four-year-old boy’s eyes. The instructors here, especially Master Austin, are not only highly skilled martial artists but also truly understand child development and education. He intentionally gives every child opportunities to be a leader, and teaches discipline in a way that is both gentle and firm. The kids also learn important life skills like greeting others, making friends, and showing respect. For our family, this program has been much more than a martial arts class — it has also been physical training and social-emotional education. I highly recommend it to families with children similar to my son.

  Goleta Dojo’s kickboxing class is hands down the best workout in town! The energy is incredible, and you leave feeling like you really accomplished something. Highly recommend if you want to get in shape and have a blast doing it."

  I have had the privilege and pleasure of meeting a man it is distinguished in the martial arts arena, and I found it to be a pleasure to meet with him and study with him his style of hapkido. I love this art because it is the epitome for me of everything that I’ve learned since I was 16 and what I love it, incorporates kicks and locks and punches almost everything that is that I find in other martial arts. I find here and like Bruce Lee said you work with the skills and talent you have and you focus on that and delete the others and that’s what I’m doing.

  My son enjoys it and the instructions do a good job of getting everyone involved as well, I would recommend it for any age group it’s a good way to get your kids tired and out of there comfort zone, 5 starts overall UPDATE 4/14/26 after dealing with medical issues and not being able to participate sensei Austin was very professional and understanding about not being able to continue anymore, one of the best experiences I’ve had at a establishment it was a pleasure being able to be allowed inside the dojo !
