- RLRobert LambOct 5, 20265.0I've been riding since 1984. Unfortunately my LBS recently moved out of the area. I tried a couple of LBS in the area and even the Trek store in Bonita. Customer service at each one was average and some of them even disappointing. It felt like you were interrupting their day. I went to Kearney Mesa Trek a few months back and every staff members has been professional and attentive. They helped my wife and me purchase two Gravel e-bikes and even though one of them didn't fit after my wife tried it they quickly resolved the issue. Chris, Oliver, John and Axel the mechanic are the best combination i have ever experienced in my 40 plus years of riding. They answer every question, listen to your concerns and always have a quick solution to help. They are the model all other LBS's should follow.

Brought in my old Mtn bike and just asked them to clean and adjust the shifters to get it shifting through all the gears since they were old and dirty. They notified me this was done but when I got home the rear shifted fine, but the front would not shift at all. Took it back and after discussing decided to purchase new shifters. Specifically talked to the rep about shifter placement since I had purchased new grips to put on later. They put the shifters in the wrong place. Now I have to adjust them to fit the grips. In total 5 trips to this store and still have to adjust things myself. Still charged me for the initial visit even though they didn't complete the task.
