  If you want to play actual, honest cards, stay far away from Bankers Casino on Monterey Street. This place operates like a grimy middle school cafeteria rather than a professional card room.I sat in Seat 1 on the Spanish 21 table and was dealt a 12 (Face card and a 2). Since I’m a quiet player and didn't feel like joining the dealer's little social hour with his preferred inner circle, the dealer literally turned his head away from my seat, completely ignored my cards, and skipped my entire turn. He didn't even look my way to see if I wanted to hit or stay on a 12 which is basic blackjack math. He didn't even realize I existed until the hand was over and he aggressively reached out to snatch my chips.The best part? The entire table literally stopped and told the dealer he messed up. So he called over the floor manager, who was completely useless. She actively teamed up with the dealer to cover the mistake, fabricating a fake rule that "there was too much action" to honor my live bet.Then she looked me dead in the eye and lied, saying she couldn't pull the security footage because she "didn't have audio access." Hey Bankers, your cameras are visual. You don't need audio to see a dealer turning his back on Seat 1. When I called her out for being unfair, she just shrugged and told me to "talk to JC in the morning." I’m not dumb you can’t just get over on me because your staff is too distracted gossiping to count to 21.Unless you are ready to jump over the table and wave your hands to get basic service, do not waste your time or money in this cliquey, unprofessional bubble.

  Bankers Casino has become one of our go to eating spots whenever we’re grabbing drinks or attending an event nearby, especially since they’re open late. Their food is seriously underrated. The shrimp tacos absolutely live up to the hype, they really are the talk of the town. The tortilla is perfectly crispy, with crispy cheese on the outside that adds the best texture and flavor. The shrimp is seasoned well and full of flavor, and the salsa brings a nice kick that ties everything together. Definitely a must order every single time I visit. And somehow the pancakes are just as impressive, fluffy, soft, and delicious. They’re the perfect comfort food, especially later at night. If you’re looking for a late night spot with surprisingly great food, Bankers Casino is it!

  Got in got bad info from one of their employees placed a bet on what I thought was blackjack and got robbed they might as well have put a gun to my head and took my money.

  One of the nicest cardrooms I've been in. Good restaurant, happy hour and friendly dealers. Love this place!!!
