  I found exactly what I wanted thanks to the amazing attentive help from a friendly salesperson. There are certain things you need/want that only REI carries. So happy to still have a store where I can touch the fabric and try things on!!!

  Love REI once your a member if your purchase isn't what you'd thought was great return it within a year. Example I hike in the mountains and walk on the surf in the ocean so footwear is important to me. If it doesn't work for ya return it and try another type of footing.

  Wanted to come here to leave a 10 star review for the REI employee PETER… he was such an amazing associate. He thoroughly explained to my partner and I the pros and cons of sleeping pads for our upcoming camping trip to mammoth next week. It’s a big investment and we’ve been overwhelmed on what to get and he was wonderful. It was our first time in the store even though we’re local. We were simply blown away at his customer service tonight and will be coming back to purchase solely on our interaction with him alone. He was so welcoming, informative, and passionate about the outdoors and didn’t pressure us into anything. Would like to add the store is very clean, and ALL associates greeted us and asked periodically if we needed any help. This level of customer service is unheard of nowadays. We will definitely be buying all of our outdoor needs from here going forward.
