  I would highly recommend London Coin in Newport Beach. The owner, Tami, is very organized and transparent. Please note that coin evaluations are done by appointment. It is a very efficient process. Thank you for a great experience, Tami.

  I had taken an appointment two weeks ago and showed up on time. Tammy “the Boss” arrived with a frowning face. I had a large collection of gold coins to liquidate and carried them with me. I started to break the ice and establish a conversation, but was quickly told, in a borderline rude way, that this is a waste of her time and if I had something to show her I should just do it! She glanced at some of my coins in a second, left the room, after she asked me not to look at the display in the gallery and not to leave the room. She came back, with the same face and a piece of paper with a quotation. By that time I had lost all appetite of conducting any kind of business with this lady who clearly lacks customer’s service and communication skills, in spite of her “40 years of experience” in the business! When I asked her if they validate parking, “not if we do not conduct business” she rudely replied! POOR business practice!

  My brother and I went here to trade in an old coin collection that belonged to our father. Tami was extremely helpful, patient, knowledgeable and fair. It was a very positive experience and we would not hesitate to return.
