- MFMike FineltAug 17, 20265.0I went in with some tempered excitement. First lesson Gerard found and fixed my weight shift issue….changed my ball compression and striking within a very short time. After years and years of not being able to hit a draw….I’m drawing and drawing with some control. Still can’t seem to get my hands down into the slot….he tries and keeps tweaking drills for me….its a “me” problem. Since working with Gerard I’ve consistently been in the low-mid 80s and even shot 75! I have another 5 lessons and a whole bunch of practice in front of me. Aside from the swing tweaks, the best learning I’ve had at Golftec is practicing with intent. Best thing about Gerard as a coach is he met me where I was instead of forcing the swing. Really cool to see the changes in my game!

- JSJohn SchulteJun 19, 20264.0Handicap 10...I've always had pretty good distance, but I was coached to make some swing changes and technique which has added 20 yards with irons and 30-40 yards with driver with no sacrifice in accuracy. However, I have not seen as much change in short game, since skill at that entails recognizing changes in lie, turf conditions, slope changes, and green speed which cannot be coached in the artificial conditions of a simulation room. So, I advise to figure out your priority for improvement and scoring. Good for swing improvement, mediocre for short game improvment.
- MYMarty YuenFeb 23, 20265.0I wasn’t sure if there would be a difference between working on my swing using the indoor video simulators and going to the old fashion driving range…I have found out there is! The GolfTec equipment has helped me make my swing more consistent, add distance and more importantly, more accurate. The equipment measure so many more data points that a traditional gold lesson would not provide. Thanks GolfTec for helping improve my game!

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
