- KBKlinton Briney1 day ago1.0It’s honestly hard to understand how an REI located directly on the beach doesn’t carry basic beach gear. I stopped in to buy a boogie board, but the associate told me they don’t sell boogie boards, paddle boards, surfboards, or really any water equipment beyond swimsuits. Given the location, that’s incredibly surprising and feels like a huge missed opportunity. If you’re on the beach and realize you need beach or water gear, don’t count on finding it here, but plenty is snow ski equipment! 🤣😵💫
