- JJJenelleAug 14, 20265.0I called multiple local skate and sports shops trying to find someone who could heat mold my inline skates. Almost every single place scoffed or gave me an immediate "no." Finally, I called REI in Marina Del Rey and spoke with Adrian, who was easily the most helpful employee I’ve encountered. While REI typically handles heat molding for ski boots, Adrian didn't just turn me away. He took the time to listen to my situation, carefully assessed the issue, and recommended supportive insoles that completely transformed the fit of my skates. On top of that, he heat molded and stretched the boot shells as much as possible. Adrian went well above and beyond to help solve a tricky issue today. If you need knowledgeable, patient, and creative customer service, ask for Adrian!

I originally just asked if he could help us find the Yosemite maps they usually carry, and he not only found us the last set in the store, but also took the time to make us a list of recommendations with places to visit and things to look out for during our trip. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine kindness made such a lasting impression. Customer service like his is rare, and we’ll definitely be back, hopefully to find Kevin again and share how our Yosemite adventure went. Thank you, Kevin! :)
