  I’ve really enjoyed my time with coach Chris Brown. I hadn’t played golf in about 7 years prior to coming in and in the last few months have improved so much. Thanks to a combination of great coach and great tools that Golftec has to offer

  Haven't visited facility yet but hear good things about Encinitas. Own a range in the area myself, and the kids, well. They take the range balls, park in two spots, they're loud. I don't understand it. Or their language these days. "LOL" and "fire" and the like. You can have all that. I don't know if Encinitas GolfTec has the same problem. I guess it boils down to the parents.

  My experience with Coach Matt for my fitting was incredible! He tailored my fitting to me and my needs. Every swing is unique and Matt found the right driver fit for me! 12 rounds later my handicap has lowered by almost 3. I hit 15-20% more fairways and have picked up at least 20 yards! Thanks Golftec and Coach Matt!!!

  I did not grow up playing golf, but I always felt it was a game I could enjoy for the rest of my life. When I was 22, I met Scott Engelland, the manager and a coach at GOLFTEC Encinitas Ranch, and decided to invest in a 3-10 lesson plan. At the time, I could make decent contact occasionally, but I had no real understanding of what I was doing well, what was causing my bad shots, or how to fix anything. Had I been keeping an honest score, I probably would have been shooting in the upper 90s or 100s, with plenty of lost balls and three-putts along the way. I remember telling Scott that my definition of success was simply being able to hit 10 wedge shots in a row into the air without chunking or skulling one. By the end of that first lesson package, I was consistently hitting solid shots and recording scores in the 80s. A few months later, I shot my first legitimate 79, and I was completely hooked. I have now continued taking lessons with Scott nearly every year for the past nine years, usually through either a 3-10 or 6-15 plan. Every time I have committed to another package of lessons, I have seen a direct improvement in my game and handicap. Today, I am a scratch golfer working toward becoming a plus-handicap player. Scott is an outstanding coach. He is knowledgeable, approachable, patient, and never pushy. He does a great job of explaining the golf swing in a way that makes sense, while still challenging me to improve every time I see him. Just as importantly, the entire Encinitas Ranch location has always been welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in helping golfers get better. I truly believe GOLFTEC can improve the game and scores of golfers at any level, provided they take the lessons seriously and put in the practice. My own experience is proof of that, and it is why I recommend Scott and GOLFTEC Encinitas Ranch to people regularly.

  Solid coaches, convenient facility with adjacent driving range and excellent putting green. Things I like: (1) good instructors, (2) club fitting if needed, (3) OK swing tech. Things that could be better: (1) instructors can't come out to driving range or putting green, which is very limiting as hitting outside vs. a simulator is quite different (for some of us anyway), (2) simulator tech is inconsistent - a different setup in each of the 4 bays, (3) simulator tech ranges from very old to a little old, (4) Golftec software is archaic, runs on what feels like Windows 98 machines - can't save off your data, and systems crash all too easily. Notwithstanding the headaches, I've learned a great deal in 12 months. For someone who's never had in-depth swing instruction, it was worth it.
