It was said by store staff that an 11 month return looks suspicious, so be prepared to beg them to honor the return guarantee if its been 11 months. Maybe they should shorten the return window to two months instead to appease store staff. Just know if you buy something and you are an REI member, the 1 year return will be interrogated as looking bad if you ever use it.

Came in to get a little something for my kid at opening, asked staff for help and was treated with zero kindness. Actually felt like I was bothering them. Customer service matters. Shook it off... moved on... complimented one of the staff for their cool Grateful Dead pins and they looked at me like I'm a weirdo... rude.. just rude. Ruined my morning. Major ick. Won't be back.
