  Came in two nights in a row to buy hiking boots. First problem: my $30 new-member bonus card wouldn't work, and it took a very long back-and-forth before staff issued a replacement — which I couldn't use until the second night. Second: a 15% new-member web coupon was honored on night one but refused on night two, with no clear explanation for the inconsistency. The manager on duty, Rebecca L., was noticeably impatient while we were trying to sort this out. Left frustrated — expected much better from REI.

  This is the worst REI customer service I have ever experienced and I have been to REIs all over the country. Who is the manager of this place? Please do better or put a sign at the door saying ‘No customers wanted’ that way we don’t have to come and bother you. If you are reading this and thinking of going to this store- please think twice. Order online if you have to but for your own sake AVOID this store. Rude and arrogant staff. Any positive reviews you read are a lie trying to manage impressions and are likely down from corporate. I wish I had read other reviews before going in.

  Just amazing customer service. We tried to enroll in the REI mastercard program, which is a bit of a challenge as an international, but the staff spent a huge amount of time trying to make it work. They were so friendly, I actively enjoyed the process even though it did not work out in the end. Enjoy browsing this shop any day
