The staff are the least helpful I’ve ever experienced at a REI. I’ve been a member for nearly 20 years and have never experienced this level of unhelpful customer service. We waited 20 minutes for help to unlock clothing items that are locked. Each staff member that walked by or that we approached could not be bothered to help, some just refused to make eye contact. Staffing like this makes me want to only buy online.

I bought a pair of hiking pants there at this store and wore them three times before they literally started to fall apart. The stuff in the store is complete overpriced garbage. Nobody in the store will help you. It's impossible to find anything. And their stuff is crap. You'll be better off going pretty much anywhere else

I can only speak to my experience, but the service I got was top notch. I brought my bike in because one of the gears wasn't shifting and the break wasn't working. Scott took his own time to test it out, diagnose it, and fixed it as best as he could, I just paid for the new break pad. Staff will come over and explain everything as best as possible to make sure you get whats best for you. I was happy to spend on some other things I wanted because the service was so great, and I bought some new climbing shoes. I checked the price online after, and they price matched with Amazon at $139, so their prices are very fair and competitive too. If I ever need sports gear or repairs, this is where I will go.
