  I did not have a very good experience with the staff there I have been in twice to have coins looked at and both times i got the apprentice and still haven't even seen the owner. I went in the first time and the only thing he wanted to look at was the silver I had and any time I tried to show him errors he'd just say some half formed reason that it wasn't what I thought it was. The second time he actually looked at a few error coins but he didn't want to look at anything that wasn't a known error from Gray scale and both times I came in he got excited about one coin or another and then find a reason to dip into the back for a few minutes and then come back and say oh it was nothing it seems like coin stores in general try and discourage from looking for errors or downplay their significance I mean we collect coins to have the rare stuff but we get told that errors and certain years don't matter and according to the apprentice pretty much when they stopped making quarters there are no significant quarters to be found I find that hard to believe especially when you see actual store listings for modern coins with very clear distinct errors. It seems to me like he was only interested in the silver and gold currency that can be melted down I did not care for his dismissive attitude and I really don't like him disappearing into the back with coins I was showing him it makes me feel like he's doing something shady and makes me not trust the guy right away he did have some good information and knowledge but it doesn't make up for the unprofessional manner in which he handled my questions and discouraged my looking for errors on all coins like if it hasn't been discovered yet then it doesn't have value I have not had a good experience with this shop at all

  Inherited a large collection from grandparents several years ago that have been slowly liquidating as i really knew very little about what i had initially and honestly would’ve taken yrs of studying the complexities of the rare coin market to truly understand. What i did learn pretty quickly (and still kicking myself for not being wiser to it before those first couple sales), was how there’s many shops/professionals who make a living taking advantage of ppl like me. Unfortunately coins, tho some very cool and interesting, just aren’t a passion of mine, which would’ve been a requirement for me to invest the time and energy necessary to comprehend the entirety of this truly impressive collection. I’ve slowly been liquidating and given highs in both gold and silver, wanted to take advantage, so been trying out individual shops one at a time with the few things id pull out and gain enough knowledge on to be dangerous to anyone trying to take advantage. I feel Ive been to most every shop in a 50 mile radius of phx, and have to say, though theres a few places i would consider honest, the majority are not. What impressed me most about every time i sold something to either Patrick or Jon, other than time and openness to educate (questions i already knew answers to btw (sry guys), but always got the straight and honest feedback to) was the 3 times i went in before deciding this was definitely place to trust with entirety of collection, was how many “regulars” or repeat customers there were coming and going (obviously on first name basis with owner Patrick) that i really didn’t get at any other shop i visited in last 2 years since this adventure began. Anyway hopefully can save others the time and energy i had to involve in finding truly the right ppl (thank god i did), they were very accommodating with an amount in cash when requested in advance and feel i can sleep soundly at night knowing i didn’t squander the amazing gift my grandparents left me by getting taken advantage of. These guys are best in town, take my word for it or test em out yourself, I can confidently say i know the playing field and very grateful i found this spot, thanks again guys!!

  This is the only place I trust to buy and sell gold and silver. They treat you fairly. Very friendly

  I go here all the time and they are awesome! Highly recommended visiting this place if your buying or selling metals.
