It is a beautiful course, started out great. Pace of play was pretty slow, we were kinda waiting on the people in front of us and the ranger came by and started yelling at us when we were putting and told us to pick up pace of play because the group behind us was waiting on us because it was just a twosome, very unprofessional and very rude!!!

That was... the most disappointing experience on a golf course I've ever had. How Quintero GC is one of the top rated public golf courses in the state is beyond me. $115 bucks during summer. Finished the round in 4 1/2 hours (typical for a course with that much driving between holes). Needlessly harassed by the employee who lectured us about being behind, twice in 2 holes, causing us to be even more behind.
What's more, they accused a player of ours for not paying (when his uncle paid for him) amd made him pay twice. Quintero GC has lost its way and doesn't deserve the accolades it gets. A RUINED golf experience.

Okay so yes the course is 10-10 …. But the pro shop it’s a sad excuse for a pro shop not to mention the restaurant / drink bar is also pathetic .. looked like I was going into my old country clubs snack bar from 20 years ago… nothing on the walls no tables no people … $34 for a double before tip yikes … 10 min drive to the driving range ( no problem. ) but the range honestly sucked … no yard markers? No water bucket? And 2 water stations on the whole course …. And after 8+ holes of no water finally met the cart girl and spent another 20+ on waters that should be free …… so the golf course itself is awesome and well worth the $ the other parts really suck for being the #1 course in Az

I’ve been lucky to golf some nice courses, but Quintero left me speechless. I golfed on Fri, May 29 and it was definitely an unforgettable experience. Mark was super friendly in the clubhouse and I was greeted very warmly by those who loaded up our clubs on the carts.
The conditions of the course were outer-worldly despite having recently punched the greens. You could hardly notice.
Quintero is exactly the standard that all courses need to copy + paste. Thank you for making it a memorable experience for me!
