Wow, what an experience. Absolutely beautiful holes and very challenging. Some of the best holes of golf we have played. The staff was friendly and attentive. The golf course was immaculate. Well worth the drive! Thank you for a wonderful day of golf. From Indianapolis Indiana. We played in May of 2026

Exceptional golf course in Arizona! By far the friendliest staff I've ever encountered on a golf course, and the course itself is beautiful. Well maintained, and great greens. After you check in, there is a beautiful 5-7 min golf cart ride to the practice range and 1st tee. Upon arrival at the practice range you feel like you're in Hawaii, not in the middle of the desert!! Can't wait to bring my golf loving family members here. My previous favorite was Rancho Manana in Cave Creek, but I have to say Quintero has them bested!

An outside perspective. Played on the 10th and was genuinely one of if not the most fun rounds of golf I have played in the last few years. Made the trip from Montana to play a type of golf I have never played before. We also got paired with someone from Montana so the Montana State Bobcats vibes were through the roof. Small world
From the opening gate to checking in with the shop up front everyone was great.
Practice facility was in great shape. Starter was unbelievably nice and helpful.
The course was incredible. Javelinas relaxing in the shade on hole 2. Elevation changes, water, and some of the coolest par 3s I have gotten to play and although I didn’t lose a ball (just had to throw that out there) the dessert was no joke. Nice water stations throughout the course to stay hydrated and plenty of nice amenities while you’re out there.
Quite a few divots in the fairway, but friendly reminder to those leaving bad reviews, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO REPLACE YOUR DIVOTS IN THE FAIRWAY AND FIX YOUR BALL MARKS ON THE GREEN. IT IS NOT HARD. YOU SHOULD DO IT EVERYWHERE YOU PLAY.
We had the best time and absolutely will be back next time we make it down to Phoenix. Thanks again to the staff.
Got through our round in 4 hours and didn’t have to wait on a single teebox even with a group playing in front of us but wouldn’t have minded taking in the views if we did.
Thanks Quintero.

Just got done with our round as a group of 4 - celebrating my father’s 50th birthday. We were SO excited to play this course as avid golfers and Arizona natives. It was our first opportunity to play here because of the price tag. We booked at 8:20 and had a couple twosomes behind us. We let them both play through by hole 4 as etiquette would recommend… after these groups played through, we did not see ONE person the rest of the round. We finished in 4 hours and 45 min - we were delayed 30 min total by letting the twosome behind us play through.
Despite paying over $1000 for a 4some, we were harassed by the starter Jerry over 3 times within 12 holes, and then the pro-shop manager decided he would take the 15 minute ride from the shop to hole 15 to be a complete jerk about pace of play. “Here at Quintero we play a 4 hour pace. Here at Quintero we don’t let people play through”. How are you going to be so abrasive and rude to people who just paid $1k+ and have a 13 handicap as our worst player?
Bottom line: I have never received treatment at a course like this. Let alone a premium priced course like this. The course was absolutely beautiful and a great time, but the service from these grumpy old men on staff is EASILY enough to never come back. I’m starving and went out of my way to leave and eat lunch somewhere else so that this place doesn’t get another cent from me. Literally the worst service I’ve received anywhere. You get better at your $40 muni. If I could return my hat and ball marker, I would. Never again.
If you’re in charge of this place, be better. I’m so mad I am out $1k + and was HARRASSED the entire round. Disgusting.

My favorite course in the desert but round was ruined by pro at check in. I told him my wife wanted to ride and he got very annoyed and said we only have enough carts for golfers and she would have to wait for morning carts to come in. I had to go ahead and tee off with another golfer. She stood in the parking lot for an hour and a half while I hit balls and played several holes . 2 different course assistants told us there were plenty of carts and they apologized but said we can't say anything because he is our boss. Great day on a great course ruined by power play ego.
