  I'm in North Phoenix and this is not worth the drive! Greens were drier than a desert snake, food was OK, and for what you get it should've been a third of the price! Don't waste your time on this one, I'm actually not sure why there is any hype at all for this course. The course itself is very boring - almost every hole feels the same. Zero undulation, no beautiful water features, very bland! Playing at AK Chin was like eating a well-done steak with no salt.

  Great experience times twelve. We had twelve military retirees in from around the country for back-to-back rounds of golf on a Friday. The Golf Club is undergoing significant construction improvements which will take this very special operation to the next level as soon as its completed. The starters, the restaurant staff, management and literally every person employed at Southern Dunes was delightful to interact with and very helpful. Leah out on the course provided refreshments at a frequency and a spirit that made even the Arizona roasting sun a manageable condition. Our group looks forward to the next visit to Southern Dunes.

  Wow, that was ROUGH…and not in off the fairway sense. Scheduled tee time: 9:20 Actual tee off time: 9:35 Said we would “make up time with each hole we played” Round time: 4hrs 55min Paid $200 for a sub par (no pun intended) experience. With the renovations to the clubhouse, the course seems to be in pure disarray. Didn’t have a cart ready for us because we had arrived too early (we got there an hour prior). There were a few helpful employees but most seemed to be inconvenienced with my presence at the course. I visited this course 4 years ago and loved the layout because it wasn’t a traditional desert track. I unfortunately won’t be returning again.

  Me gustó el campo, creo que al staff les faltó algo de amabilidad o ser mejores anfitriones. Pero es un campo de primera, retador y muy buen mantenimiento. Es una manejada larga y no hay donde estar cómodo para tomarte un café o una bebida post golf. De ahí en más todo excelente, costo beneficio muy bueno

  Played here about 7 years ago and was an excellent course too to bottom and cost was reasonable. Just played 4-18-26 and although it’s still a nice layout the current setup due to the new clubhouse construction makes the process to play not worth the experience. A few of the greens are in rough shape and many of the bunkers need to actually have sand in them.
