  Was in need of a backpack that would satisfy smaller personal item dimensions on European airlines. Store had backpacks in stock meeting these requirements. Employees were also very friendly, helpful.

  My husband and I recently bought e-bikes at the Chandler REI. We had a great experience working with Richard. He was both patient and knowledgeable, helped us with adding tubeless tires, and deciding on accessories we wanted. We totally appreciated him.

  Recently stopped by to get a proper backpacking backpack fitting, and Jenn (from AZ) was so patient, amazing, and knowledgeable. Finding backpacks that fit properly has been a pain point for me due to body proportions as a woman, and Jenn made me feel all the better about that and the process. She meticulously documented notes for me on backpack models I tried, in order, and info on the one that worked best for me. I ended up choosing an REI brand based on fit, and she had apparently waited to tell me about its detachable daypack, in hopes of not swaying my decision one way or the other; just based off of this, I could tell she really cared about my fitting from a place of comfort than pressure to find something that day. Thanks so much, Jenn! I’m so excited for my new backpack.
