Chickasabogue Park reopened to the public on Feb. 23, 2025 after three years of renovation for an all-new day-use area with ample parking, a new playground, new splashpad, improved courts (multiuse: basketball, pickleball, tennis), new restroom facility, new pavilion, upgraded disc golf course, improved hiking/biking trails, improved park-wide infrastructure like roads and utilities. Hours are 8 a.m. to dusk daily. The RV campground remains under construction and beach/boat ramp renovations should begin later this year.
