This is a very nice park. It is in need of some road repairs but so quiet and peaceful. Everyone is very friendly if you need any help make sure you look up Dana, she is the best.

We have visited this park several times and the grounds and amenities continue to deteriorate with each visit. We usually bring our RV, but rented a cabin on our last trip. We found a centipede in the primary bedroom and mouse droppings on the top bunk of the secondary bedroom. The roads throughout the park are insanely BAD. The potholes are unavoidable and some sections of the road are completely missing. This can do real damage to your vehicle or RV or both. One of our family faves is Pickleball, but the net was rotted and sagging to the point where we had to use duct tape to piece it together enough to even use the court. There was also a large mound of brush sitting right outside the court that appeared it had been there for a while, which was a concern since snakes and other wildlife tend to gather in brush piles. The Lodge had so many spider webs on the windows that you almost couldn’t see out and the main office had parts of the building missing, that had literally been tacked back on with packing tape. The pool was completely covered in leaves and the skimmer basket overflowing. We had to get a net and skim the entire thing so the kids could have a little swim time. All of this with them charging RESORT pricing. Not at all worth the money. Better to find another park with the same pricing that has been maintained and where you can actually enjoy all the amenities advertised. Lastly, the front desk staff was absolutely horrible. We checked out (on time), but gathered in front of the office to say our goodbyes, and were rudely told we needed to leave since it was then after checkout time. Apparently their “hospitality” ended on the dot at checkout. Another issue to note, it took 13 days to get our deposits refunded. I have NEVER had to wait so long!! We typically meet as an extended family once a year for camping, and have all decided we will NEVER go back to this place! The saddest part of all of this is that the grounds themself are gorgeous, very woodsy with rolling hills. It could be a wonderful destination spot, but at this point the entire facility and all amenities need a complete renovation and facelift.

The campground is one of our favorites but the roads in and around the campsites are awful. You could break an axel if you don't drive 5mph or less and try to avoid the huge potholes.

I’m a member of thousand trails and love that I have the park to park program so when I do decide to travel, I can easily move from location to location. I like this location just wish they could do something about the really rough road on the way in. They always offer activities. If you’re there on the weekend just always friendly nice people to speak to that are helpful if you ever need anything and will visit probably fairly frequently.

We enjoy camping here at Thousand Trails. The roads are in desperate need of repairs and they need an electrician to check out all of their sites here. We have had to move after setting up because of faulty electrical outlets. The breaker where we are now keeps coming loose and we keep loosing power at night . My husband has had to go out in rain to fix it. Now he is sick!! Please hire a maintenance crew for electrical and the road!! The pull through sites are limited to the above problems!!
