I was really excited about this bowling ally. The prices for bowling and games seem great however they get you at bar. Bowling was $19 unlimited but walked out with a $100 bar tab for 6 drinks. On top of that 20 lanes were taken for a bowling league and I was told they have a bowling league there every night.

My wife and I used to be in leagues here, but life got busier for us and we only bowl about 6-8 times a year now. Even after not playing in league, we would still go here with the kids, or just on a quick date night to bowl a couple games and leave. We have our own balls and our own shoes, so it should be fairly cheap for 4 total games. Nope. $48 now. Then they have the nerve to ask for a tip on the receipt. Let’s continue the night. The seemingly slow headed cashier at the front tells us to go to lane 21 after we paid their ridiculous price. My wife began getting our balls out and getting our lane ready as I went to the bar to pay $39 for two drinks. In the midst of that going on, 3 people start putting their names in on our lane. Confused, I let them know that they were on the wrong lane. Just as confused, one of them went up to the counter to see what happened, and she did in fact tell them to go to lane 21. She came over and moved them to lane 22, where she hadn’t even begun their games yet. That’s probably the end of the foolishness, right? Wrong… she set up another couple years n lane 20, just to come back over and make sure we were on the right lane, and the 3 people she had previously put on our lane, were on the right lane. She hasn’t started lane 20’s games yet either. The 3 people next to us had no bowling etiquette at all, which I don’t blame them for. I heard them speaking another language, so it was probable they had no idea they should be waiting for people next to them to bowl. The reason I mentioned that is because it brings me to the environment you have to deal with there. Put people you KNOW don’t have etiquette next to others who are renting bowling shoes and using house balls. Not next to 2 people who have 5 balls, shoes and who obviously know what they’re doing. LET ME SAVE YALL SOME TIME. GO TO MAIN EVENT, PAY THE SAME PRICES, AND GET THE SAME ENVIRONMENT, BUT BETTER. Bowlero Watauga is no longer family friendly. Bring the kids to a better place with more to do, for the same price. Such a shame they’ve raised their prices so much. We won’t ever be back, and I’ll speak on this night every opportunity I get. 👎🏽

Played two games. $130$ for four people to play two times. To expensive.
