  Probably the worst REI I have ever been too. It can do the job depending on your needs but definitely don’t expect a normal REI. If you want new/local go to Whole Earth Provisions. If you want used - eBay lol I have been a REI member since 2014. This REI is just a soulless, business/money focused shell of what REI is or wants to be in other cities. All marketing, none of the outdoor knowledge or community focused strategy of other REI’s. They are also going to try and shove the membership down your throat so be ready (mo memberships mo money). For example: I recently went to go buy/look for some garage sale shoes. All of them were still going for over $80 (regardless of condition). They were trying to sell shoes with soles falling apart for $90 claiming them to be “light use”. After I challenged the pricing, the manager “could only offer” 10% off. They than asked if I had a membership lol

  So tired of going and being sold a membership! And then the staff get rude when you don’t want it. Even on line ordering has gone downhill, order from Dicks easier, faster and better customer service.

  The items that were on sale didn't have a discount number. They had a red tag. They were more interested in making us members and selling merchandise. I also found their sale items very pricey.

  Great for outdoor stuff they really have everything from clothes to bike stuff and camping. The team helps with any questions and they even can ship to your place

  I spent multiple hours at this location hoping to purchase a Cannondale Trail 1 that was a floor return, but left incredibly disappointed by the experience and the pricing logic. Employees initially presented the bike as "effectively new," but a quick inspection and test ride showed it needed some work. It had deflated tires, overly squishy rear brakes, a notchy suspension, and wobbly wheels. I understand that entry-level components have tolerances, but it clearly wasn't in new condition. I really wanted to make the purchase work, but the pricing structure was the dealbreaker. The floor manager, Daniel, was only able to offer a 5% discount, bringing the total to $950. However, as an REI Co-op member, buying a brand-new version of this bike for $1,000 yields a $100 member reward (effectively $900). Because discounted floor returns don't earn rewards, REI was effectively asking me to pay $50 more for a damaged, returned bike than I would for a factory-new one. I wasted hours trying to reach a fair resolution, but the math just doesn't make sense for members. I hope management reviews how these floor returns are priced so others don't run into this same frustrating situation.
